This was made for Godot Wild Jam #72

In Light'em Ducks, you play as a light wielding duck hero trying to save their duck friends from a strange corruption that is plaguing the lands. There are a lot of ducks in this game.

The theme of the jam was light and dark, and I used the wild card what the duck. As soon as I saw the wild card I knew I wanted to make a game with ducks. I have been playing a lot of Hyperlight Drifter this past month, so I decided to make something with a similar combat system, and I think it turned out quite well.

Important: the current version of the game (the one available in this page) is not the original submitted game. I release a small QOL update later based on feedback.

Quick heads-up: the browser version has a few lag spikes and can be very laggy in general. I apologize in advance. For a smoother experience, I recommend downloading the executables.
